We’ve missed you! Beginning Friday, May 15, Athletic Annex will re-open our doors for in-store shopping.
We try to live our mission at Athletic Annex every day. “EMPOWER and INSPIRE our community to live HAPPY and HEALTHY lives… one person, one day, one step at a time.” Over the past 7 weeks we have been truly humbled to be the recipient of great inspiration and empowerment from the support and encouragement our customers and community have provided us. Thank you! We are motivated now more than ever to double down on our mission and look forward to seeing all of you very soon.
We’re prepping the store and our staff to provide the safest possible environment to serve you. Athletic Annex is continually monitoring governmental regulations and suggestions and our policies will evolve accordingly as things change.
Here are some of the safety standards we’re implementing as we re-open.
- Shortened store hours
- Mon – Sat 10am – 5pm
- Sunday Noon – 5pm
- Curbside service will remain an option
- Health screenings and hand cleaning
- All Athletic Annex team members will be required to fill out a health pre-screening each week asking whether they’ve experienced any COVID-19 symptoms
- Each team member’s temperature will be checked before they start work each day. If their temp is over 100.4 they will be sent home and encouraged to seek medical care and COVID-19 testing.
- Team members are required to wash/clean their hands after each customer fit and transaction
- We are asking customers to use the provided hand sanitizer upon entering the store
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Athletic Annex team members are required to wear face coverings while at work
- We are asking all customers to wear face coverings while shopping at Athletic Annex, and are providing disposable face coverings for anyone who doesn’t have one. This is a request, not a requirement, but we’re asking our community to take this simple action to help keep our team and your fellow customers safe. If you chose not to wear a face covering, we respect that choice and will fit you for shoes outside of the store. You can also schedule a virtual consult or shop online at www.athleticannex.com.
- Implementing Social Distancing standards
- We are limiting the number of people in the store (including employees) to 15 at any one given time.
- Appointments are not required but are given priorities. Schedule your fitting appointment by clicking the link below.
- If our store reaches capacity, we will be using a waitlist app when necessary. You’ll be able to wait outside or in your car and will receive a text when we are available to help you.
- “Fit Stations” have been marked off to help monitor six foot social distancing protocols.
- Six foot social distancing areas are marked at the cash registers
- Fitting rooms will be temporarily closed. Our return policy has been extended to 90 days during this time.
- Enhanced cleaning procedures
- Team members clean high touch surface areas after each customer interaction including fit stations, credit card key pads, cash wrap counter tops, etc.
